Alpha Client freezes and stops responding during Champ Select

I've been having a problem with when I get into champ select, once in a while my client freezes and i have to close it and restart it, but at that point the damage is done and it takes my LP. When it happens, all the pictures disapear and the words get placed in random spots on the client, and then I click on the screen and flashes the client not responding icon. This has been an ongoing problem, I've tried repairing the patch and all of that, but nothing is working. Any help would be appreciated!
