I'm getting repeated disconnects from PvP.net and when I get in champ select, the client will error with "The client has stopped working" and then crash. I am losing LP every time. Can't even get to the actual game to see if it works ok.
I've been having this problem since the Champ masteries patch.

Same. I don't think Riot realizes it though, it's not listed under the server status.
i think i've been having the same issue. i played fine yesterday night, but when i tried logging in today the log in took longer than usual than i got an error message. i didn't play any ranked games yet cuz of that so i tried spectating and that isn't really working right now for me.
Same ISSUE keep getting kicked out during champ select and it now sometimes has me reconnecting on gameplay.
same thing happened to me i had to wait 30 mins because of it...
I'm having the same issues, it's crashed even when i'm not in a lobby, just randomly. Please fix!
I'm also having a similar issue, and it has been happening since patch 5.8. Although it does not affect me until I load into the game, at some point during the game and without warning I dc from the game and pvp.net. If i try to reconnect without restarting my client, I just get the message saying that I have been disconnected from pvp.net. Sometimes it can take 20+ minutes to reconnect while having to restart my client several times, and the issue is not my internet. Tried the supposed fix in this thread, but I still had the problem. I just want to be able to play ranked without worrying that I might miss the first 20 minutes of a game.
My games fail to connect right away like %75 of the time, very annoying!!!!!!! Miss first 5-10 minutes all the time
I'm also having this same issue, I've already uninstalled league completely via revo uninstaller, and reinstalled. No change, a debug program said it was adobe air, I also downloaded adobe air, and copied it over my league adobe air, again no fix. >_< I know it came with the last patch.
Yes same here, its been happening each game, sometime i get lucky and i only have to reboot the client and i end up in game, but this is my third ranked game today where i lose LP because it crashed during champ select.
as there been a Rito statement regarding this issue? Is there something we should do to prevent this from happening?

I just lost my promos because the client just went black in champ select. I could hear music and the sound of my allies messaging (not sure if what I was typing was getting through). It's not fair that we get punished for something we didn't do, on top of the 5 minute timer already there for leavers. There needs to be some kind of grace period where if you leave one game in say 20 or so, you don't get an LP or series loss if you leave. You don't even need to say what the actual grace period number is to prevent people from counting or something. It's just not fair that all my hard work getting to series is ruined by something I had no control over and actively tried to stop from happening but couldn't.
