So this crap keeps happening to me every game since after Sylas was released, so patch 9.2 or something then next patch 9.3 i had this bug where game just drops to 0 fps from 120 for like 30-40 sec and then unfreeze and lags on 10-20 fps for next 30 sec and then back to working normal rest of the game. This happens every 2 patches so next patch 9.4 i didn't have this bug then patch 9.5 and bug is back its going like that even now on 9.11 patch, didn't have this on 9.10 i tried everything to fix, repair every day, reinstall game like every week,i don't even know what happens around 10 min to make game freeze like that only thing i can do is wait for next patch..... Does it happen regardless of game mode? Regardless of champs in the game? Have you tried spending 10 minutes in practice mode to see if it happens?

What graphic card do you have?

Also, download and install this tool:

https://www.cpuid.com/downloads/hwmonitor/hwmonitor_1.40.exe

Run it and leave it in the background while playing a game of LoL - then check and see what temperatures you get. It's a useful tool for monitoring the system temperatures (CPU + GPU + HDD), voltages and frequencies. Tho, your current issue could be related to high temperatures. As in... if your system goes overboard (overheats) - it automatically lowers the CPU and GPU frequencies (so it won't burn due to high temperatures) - which means your system might run at around 30% of the maximum performance. Thus, a decrease in FPS.

I had similar issues around 3-4 patches ago. The game would start with my usual fps (I like to keep it capped at 60), however as the game progressed, my fps would slowly get slower and lower. One game in particular, I started at a steady 60fps as usual, and ended up at 25fps after around 30 mins.

It wasn't every game however; neither was it always that bad. Most games this happened, it went from 60fps to 50fps. Also to rule out the "it comes from your computer", I could uncap and run at 200fps if I wanted to, I just prefer it locked at 60. Uncapping in this case didn't change anything. Using the repair tool didn't do anything, neither did uninstalling and then re-installing.

As for how this got fixed, I don't know. After some time it just went back to normal. Maybe it was after the next patch, I can't remember.
