FPS drops

While in game, my FPS will drop from a steady 60 down to 9-11. I understand that running the game on a laptop may cause frames to drop during 5v5 team fights, though the huge drops will happen at any time during the game every minute or so. I have no idea how to replicate the issue, but an easy fix seems to be a full repair of the game through the client log-in. Although, each time a patch arrives (major or minor) the problem starts up again. My laptop doesn't have any issues as far as I know but if i'm running the game and the problem starts, other applications such as Youtube will "stutter" as well.

Ran full repair, FPS drops still happening but not as frequent.

After another full repair, driver update and computer restart the problem has stopped. Will update after another patch.
