Very odd connect-to-game bug, happens when you join in

So I was playing all for one yesterday and when I connected a very strange bug happened.

• Upon joining in, I couldn't see my champion, or any of the other Champions in my game.
• The Minions didn't show for me as well, looking at the Mini-Map you can clearly see there aren't Minion blips displayed.
• I couldn't open the shop window and I didn't spawn in with the starting gold.
• The HUD was also affected; it had only displayed my base stats despite having runes and masteries active.
• I was restricted from using any abilities.
• Apparently I still had the ability to move around according to my team mates in game, and I can confirm this since movement voices were still active.

Upon reconnect the bug fixed itself which might seem fine at first, however I was still stuck with the starting gold I had received when I re-connected instead of a couple 100 extra gold. I also was unable to see certain areas that were warded in the Fog of War later into the match.
