Imgur: The most awesome images on the Internet

When I launch my league of legends application, it loads and when I get to the login screen all the graphics are messed up and there is random text (probably code) written at the top and written over where I log in. When I tried to click around and eventually put in my login information, I launched it and the same type of thing happened with the home screen, with different bits of code written everywhere, and more graphics being messed up. I have a mac OS X, and have tried launching the game and restarting and force quitting. I don't really know what to do. Attached are images of the login screen and home screen with the code highlighted in green.

I have the same issue and nothing seems to work. I even tried to go and redownload the client and the site won't load. Some Rioter seriously needs to explain what the hell is going on.

Same here. What's weird is during the update it was fine, but as soon as it hit 100% it's like my client committed seppuku. I'm trying to run it again for the 4th time, but to no avail. Just the overwhelming sense of doom from black screen. Maybe it's a sign I need to go outside.

Edit: 10 hours in and Ive tried everything. Same ominous log in screen(which I can log into), but can't play or interact with the main client. Just strange lines of code that makes it look like Im in the Matrix. Can we send a pigeon to riot headquarters about this? Amumu

I just finished reinstalling the game just in case it might resolve something, but nope. Still the same issue. Really hoping they notice this thread soon.

Hey, Im still trying to get to the bottom of this. What OS X are you running? Im still on OS X Lion 10.7.5. [zombie-brand-facepalm]

Edit: Just submitted a ticket lets see what comes of it.

I'm also on 10.7.5, what about others with this issue? Since it seems to be a Mac thing.

Yea I also have 10.7.5 it might be that the computer is getting too old which is what happened to a lot of games I used to play... sadly. But I hope they can fix it because I love leauge.

I have 10.7.5 too. It just seems like someone should be doing something about this.... I'd hate if i just couldn't play again and so suddenly.

I opened a ticket, was pretty much told to update my OSX…Which sucks because Ive heard negative things about El Capitan. :| Plus I have no backup if shit goes wrong with update so Im putting that off for now. Plus I got that Overwatch on deck so not all bad. I also got a love for this god damn game. item 3070

Same sh*t here, i've been having these code lines all over my screen since the 7.3 update. I'm still running my mac on 10.7.5, and i really don't want to upgrade into Sierra (isn't it Sierra now?)

Why would the game work perfectly before 7.3, and our O.S be in cause right after? I really don't get it..

This is happening to me too. I'm on a mac aswell. I can't believe nothing's been done yet, the games unplayable.

I also got the same issue. Same type of computer. Happened as soon as I started downloading patch 7.3, and force quitting/restarting didn't work for me either. Can't start a game in said condition, unfortunately.

I'm having the same issue as well and now I can't even close the client.
