Vayne Silver Bolts Bug

During several of my games with Vayne I level W first, and it proceeds to not work. The light doesn't even flash around the icon, do damage, make the sound, or anything. Considering Vayne's kit, you are super reliant on Silver bolts late game and it's arguably behind some of my loses.
