For the past 20 minutes or so, I cannot start a new game. After several repeated attempts to fix the issue, it still arises. "Please Reconnect" + Game Crash . . . Please fix this issue. My friend was able to log in and do whatever he wanted, but when I tried to log in after him, same thing pops up.
It's a pretty good time reading some of the threads while i wait at least =D need more.
Same Im in a curse call with 4 other people who were in my last game, it ended with a surrender from the enemy team apparently and now when we all try to login it tells us to reconnect then it goes to a black screen and nothing. we have all restarted the client and same result, were all being as calm as possible while we discuss what other games we might have to play together instead of league in the mean time. its be 44 minutes so far. pls fix riot baes.~~~~

Just got this same situation. It was an ARAM. Except the player I played with also received the message afterwards when trying to make a new game, and so did the poor sap we added afterwards. We cannot re-log either due to server issues.
my friend has the same thing right now update: yeah true, takes 2 hours
no we were a peta jungle team, i was a amumu. Its been so long it hasnt been fixed for any of us. ugh.
Task manager->close client->relaunch. Worked for me.
