I was promoting from Gold I to Plat V and found out that I just got kicked out from the series accidently this afternoon and left with 81 lp in Gold I. I just started my series 2 days ago so I think its not the time problem. I got two loses and one win before this happens and I think it's not enough to get me a fail from it. Hope this could be fixed ASAP.
Did the client mess up and basically disconnect you from the champ select? I had this happen yesterday in my promo, thankfully I didn't lose the promo like I was thinking I might. So it might have been something similar but the system deemed it as you left instead of their own issue.
Did you queue dodge? Dodging during your promo series counts as a loss, and your third loss kicks you out of your series.
nah, I surely know the rules of dodging. I finished my 3rd game out of 5 last night and went to sleep. By that time it was 1W2L and I found out I failed the promo this afternoon. It shows that I was out of time or something from the series when I Logged in, but I don't think that's an official reason of failing a promo.
