Recent update with morgana my ping jumped from 40 to 900

Has anyone else been having issues with the new patch for Morgana? my ping jumped from 40 to 900 with this new update and its been ruining my game since i tried to play a game and i keep losing connection during a match. This has never happened before i have always had good connection when i'm playing. i also think its because of the new loading background but that's just a theory. So if someone from riot sees this can you please fix it, I really enjoy playing league of legends and i don't want to stop playing because of this problem. Also is anyone else having the same issue?
