Nidalee and her INTeresting spears

So for a while now Nidalee's spears have been interesting to say the least. The hitbox is awful and makes her pretty much unplayable in the meta. Adding on to this even some of her spears go straight through the target with zero damage being done. This is very noticeable on her new skin Super Galaxy Nidalee where spears go through targets quite often.
