This doesn't make any sense I played did my best and won so many games. It is because I mained support? I really don't understand I'm literally crying because I was so excited and thought I would at least be in silver 3. Can someone please explain to me what happened. This is so messed up.
I don't get why people get so angry at their placements. You were Bronze last season. You don't go from Bronze to Silver JUST from placements (unless you were previously high Bronze and got very lucky matchups)! There was a soft reset. That's why you're still in Bronze.
Do you want to just play 10 games and hit silver and collect your end-of-season rewards without playing another ranked game ever? You're supposed to climb the ladder! If you're truly silver level, you will get there... just keep playing.
(This coming from someone who was Gold 1 last season, got placed into Silver 4 (!!!), and climbed back to Gold 1... still climbing...)
If you were ranked bronze last season, you will most likely be placed back in bronze since every season they only do a soft reset. If this was your first season playing, then i'm not quite sure.
Won 5-5 games and got Silver III, and I wasn't ranked last season ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
This is soooo unfair tho I did so good and all my teams did so good. I was soooooo excited to be out of bronze I dont understand how this is fair. I'm not gonna play this game again for a very long time. Thanks Riot ur great and fair

Doesn't matter how good you do if you were anywhere near bronze the last season you will never get out. I was super motivated to play and all that's gone after i say that bronze 4
Also, They should have at least ranked me up one or given me some extra push of mr so i could have a chance im skipping some ranks but haha nooo
If this is your first time playing ranked, then you should be higher, but if it's not, that's just how the cookie crumbles. I was in bronze one last season and won 7 out of my 10 placements and got placed into bronze 3
I won 5/10 of my games and got into silver 2. Considering that the first three games I won hard, the next 4 I lost due to afk/feeders, and then got tooth and nail for the next three 2/1. Silver 2 is pretty easy winnings, if there isn't a smurph.
Rekt son, I lost 7 won 3 cause I was trolling but I couldn't troll hard enough 3 of the times, and still got placed Silver.
If this is your first season playing ranked, I'd say your placement was fair to generous.
My friend just finishes his and he went 3/7 and still got silver 3 LOL WHAT someone explain THAT to me

And as I SAID before how the hell is it fair to hold someone to a past bad season. HOW IS THAT FAIR ITS NOT FAIR. Riot I'm begging you to fix your broken rankings. I went from playing with 150 ping last season so around 50-100 this season because I can only play without lag from 5am-2pm because I live waaaaay out in the country with an internet company called 'RISE BROADBAND' LOL and you are going to keep me tied to every bad season. Veeeery fair

What was your rank at the end of last season? Your rank/MMR from last season affects where you are placed this season.
Also, how well/what you did in those games doesn't matter. The only thing that matters when it comes to rank is whether you win or lose the match.
