Ekko Q Invis, Ult trail scribbled around screen

Noticed this happened to me twice now and somebody on reddit mentioned having the same issue. Basically whenever Ekko threw his Q in lane it would be visible to about the point where it hit something then entirely disappear. I could still hear the audio and it did damage however, it was completely invisible probably half way going out and when it was returning to him. Also, sometimes when I returned to lane and he was not there I would see his ult trail scribbled around the visible screen then it would kind of speed up really fast and disappear.
