With a new Sona skin... comes another never-ending checking files...
Hello, I play on the Mac client of League of Legends. For the most part, the Mac client runs the exact same as its PC counter part, until recently when this checking files bug has occurred the last three patches I have tried. Every time a new patch comes out, I am forced to sit at my desk and watch as over 10,000 files are "scanned" until my client will FINALLY move past 33%, only to crash upon reaching 99%. I have tried literally EVERY other suggestion in other forums post, and still nothing has worked. The only thing which worked for me for one game was reinstalling the game, after which I played a game, my client crashed, and the scanning began again. While reinstalling after every game may sound amusing, I play with options not typical to those given when you first install league, aka very small hud/minimap, minimal of the left, higher sensitivity, etc, making playing a game right after I have restarted nigh on impossible. I know the people at Riot probably have absolutely no idea what's causing this bug, but if somebody from Riot could personally respond to this post with any suggestion or help whatsoever that will even for a while end this bug, that would be great. I love League of Legends as a game and was excited to see the new music feature with the Sona Ultimate Skin, however I find myself wanting to go to other games with bugs like this occurring. Thanks in advanced for any response that Riot employers have to this post.
