OKAY I FIGURED IT OUT. No More random "Good Connection" DCs !!!!!
So frustrated as hell after losing yet another league game to random disconnects, i decided to do an all nighter to dig into what this may be(btw which is way more than riot has done for you here.. for real they didnt respond to a year long thread on this...) Sooo i looked up connections! Everything is perfectly connected! probably what yall have don to that part was simple. Then i realized on leagues connection beta testing tool that i had a 0.001% packet loss.. that may seem small but when it comes to a game like this, it will completely DC you in league of legends. SO you need to go and access your router from your internet browser via your external ip address, then select advanced options after you have signed in. You then want to select Port Forwarding. This will allow you to prioritize your cpu to receive data first before other things, and hopefully before it can get disrupted by things as dumb as your microwave. You will now need to put in your devices ip address... after that set it to "other". Lastly fill in the service type and port values. REMEMBER the start port is the lowest number and end port is the highest number. You will have to do this a few times for different aspects of the league program. Heres a list:
Service Type: UDP, Start Port: 5000, End Port: 5500. (For the Game Client) Service Type: TCP, Start Port: 8393, End Port: 8400. (For the Patcher) Service Type: TCP, Start Port: 2099, End Port: 2099. (PVP.Net Port) Service Type: TCP, Start Port: 5222, End Port: 5223. (PVP.Net Ports) Service Type: TCP, Start Port: 80, End Port: 80. (HTTP Connections) Service Type: TCP, Start Port: 443, End Port: 443. (HTTPS Connections) Service Type: TCP/UDP, Start Port: 8088, End Port: 8088. (Spectator Mode)
As a simplified explanation, what we have done is direct the flow of data like traffic leaving a way better chance of not leaving behind packets or them coming in late. Cheers mates!
