Game crashes but stuck on the reconnect/game in progress screen for hours

had a couple of games recently, one yesterday where the game crashed completely and was stuck on the reconnect screen for a long time (was fixed this morning) and one today where the same thing happend but after the game was finished and i was back at the home page. any suggestions on how to fix it?
