Smite Visual Bug

Recently, I played in the jungle using smite. However, whenever I used smite, one or two thin blue lines would flash (or sometimes stay) on my screen. The lines seem to be emanating from the smite spell icon at the bottom. The lines would reach and edge, and thus stop. These lines would continuously appear until smite's cool down is over, and I can use it again. So for most of the game, as I used smite quite often, my screen would have blinking blue lines.
