Champ select bug

Was just giving a leavers timer because the client would not let me pick my selected champ, was last pick in a draft game mid , would click on Lock in button and played the animation and would show me skins. but my friend showed that i did not lock in and counted down after i was finalized on the pick and fully locked in, some insight on how to fix this or prevent it from happening would be great thanks
