[Client] Champion portraits not working properly

Earlier tonight I queued up for a solo queue match and I was greeted with this when I entered champ select. Over half of my champions were just black boxes instead of having their proper portrait in place. Then when a champ was picked/banned they had a black box but with a funky icon in the top left corner. As far as recreating the bug goes every time I've gotten into a lobby I've been met with the same issue and re-logging didn't help. So far I have only tried ARAM and Ranked solo queues.
