AS A BRAND MAIN, I have CONFIRMED 2 bugs ON BRAND!!!

Hello this is my second account. I have two gold accounts and in both of them i play brand or volibear 95% of the time in ranks. I have confirmed these bugs on BRAND.

FIRST BUG: When u press R to ult and then press w very quickly (almost instantaneous). The champion will perform the ult animation, but the ult never comes out, instead after animation it cast W instead. As someone with hundreds of brand games in ranked, This have happened numerous times before. For example, i see 2 enemies right beside each other. I flash in then quickly press ult and then press w so that my ult and w will land on them almost at the same time. That way they will have no time to react. SOMETIMES THIS DOES NOT WORK AND INSTEAD when I PRESS R and THEN W, the champ sorta lags for a split sec, then just uses w on them, allowing them time to run and kill me rather than me getting a double.

SECOND CONFIRMED BUG: Recently the new patch changed brand's ult so that when u ult an enemy champ and then that champ suddenly becomes untargetable, your ult will NOT fizzle out but instead bounce to nearby targets. HOWEVER THIS DOESNT always work. Sometimes my ult actually fizzled out when my target used hour glass immediately after i ulted. NO MINIONS nearby and 5 champs where clustered very close together. My ult did not damage any of them one bit and it goes into cool down.

Please look into this and test it out.

I had problems with Brand before when his combo wasn't casted proper, while I never had such kind of problems with Annie. But I just thought that I'm a bad player.

I've actually seen a few problems with Brand's pyroclasm not acting as the "team AOE nuke" its should.

  • It will hit a resurrecting Aatrox and fizzle out
  • It will hit a trollpoling Fizz and cancel out
  • If it hits Zed, and Zed ults, it cancels the Dot AND the bounce
  • Bard ults SOMETIMES stop it, sometimes not

I understand it shouldn't be guaranteed hits, but If it can hit zhonya's targets, it would be consistent for it to hit these other "temp invulnerable" targets. Spell Shields are one thing, but these are silly. Especially when fizz can pole twice during your ult to guarantee it fizzles out.

I can confirm the SECOND BUG. I recently had a Brand game that left me completely confused. After launching ult at an Ahri that was surrounded by her 4 other teammates, she used Zhonyas active. Instead of the ult continuing, it fizzled out and no enemies took damage. My ult did proceed to go on cooldown.

ThorSlayer, in regards to BUG ONE, are you sure you're not just cancelling your R animation with your W before it actually gets an opportunity to launch?
