Cannot open League of Legends on MAC

I was playing since yesterday, I even didn't log off or shutdown or install any new applications. But tonight I just cannot run League of Legends :(

When I run the application, it pops up the little logo and then nothing happens.... the logo will disappear I should say that... I'm on MAC 10.10.1

Please assist if anybody knows what's going on.

Edited a day later: Well I should say about my success as well here... I finally could get through:

With AppCleaner I found any file related to League of Legends and deleted them all Reboot the system Checked for any new updates, but there was none Shutdown system Then start my MAC again Checked again if anything remained Fresh download the new installer Installed and to my surprise, this time the little League of Legends logo stayed for way longer in the middle of desktop, I thought I better be patient! And eventually, it popped up the patch window Left it over night to download what it needs and it looks good this morning

Well I thought I uninstalled and re-installed at least 3 times... but maybe a full clean and reboot plus shutdown and fresh installation was the correct steps to follow!

I time to time get the Bug message pops out, but most of the time, after a reboot it starts working!!

I have this exact problem too. Can't seem to find a solution to it. I've tried reinstalling the game and restarting the computer, but nothing works. Edit: I can't even open the PBE client.

My issue now is I can hop on the client, but once I try to go to champ select, it just goes to hell. Sometimes I never get in the champ select, sometimes I do, but it never changes to a different person, and I just get kicked out for not picking a champion. Not sure what's going on, but the Mac client for me has been buggy as of late.

I'm having problems as well with 10.10.1 I am incredibly frustrated and wish that riot would say something about this. I've spent a lot of time/energy/money on this game and now I can't even play, or when I can play I get disconnected 3 or 4 times. The only thing I can play with confidence is an ARAM, and I just got a leaver warning in that (my first ever).

I'm not playing this game again until it is fixed. It's no longer fun for me, or for my friends who play with me. Riot has lost a customer.

My problem was different, the new patch ending suppose to has the new sign of victory and defeat, it didn't change a bit. My big problem were in Twist Tree, I kept having lags in Twist Tree.
