Bug with the new Client display

I have a laptop I occasionally hook up to a monitor via HDMI. The previous client would hop to the new screen resolution just fine when I plugged it in, but the new one has had some serious issues. The most common and frustrating has been a failure to change into full screen in the match lobby (you know how its supposed to be a window in queue and then go full screen after you hit accept). It cuts off part of the lobby display so I can't pick or ban properly, and nothing in the resolution settings fixes it. Even unplugging the monitor hasn't fixed the problem without a complete restart of the client. I tried to get into a match and subsequently got banned on leaver buster for dodging the queue. Very frustrated.
