Unable to purchase additional runes

I have more than enough LP and am unable to purchase missing runes. Currently I have all of the quints and marks, a modest amount of seals and glyphs but am attempting the comletionist thing. When trying to purchase additional runes I receive an error:

An Error Has Occurred You have attempted to purchase or already own more than the maximum amount for this item.

This error was on the previous client and on the new client. I have reloaded the game entirely and still receive this.

There is actually a limit on runes you can own. If you have a bunch of lower tier Runes you need to get rid of, make a list and submit a Support Ticket to request they be removed.
