I was disaplined for following directions.

I called top first but the other team members were all friends and wanted Atrox top. Sure, I'll sup then since that is the only position left. I use Alpha on Morg and they all scream at me for taking cs. I warded bushes and did as much as I could without hitting mins or champs. What else can I do? Then get warning I'm afk. The team was a bunch of boys with too much testosterone that really don't understand the game. We lost terribly but I was following directions. Should I be punished for this? If so I'm ok with it but doesn't seem right.

I feel like there is ALOT missing from this story. But best as I can gather you seem to have raged at some point and went semi-afk on the summoner platform. If that is the case then yes you should be disciplined for it, as going AFK is never allowed. (IRL emergencies aside)

Just mute them. Play the game how you want to play. You had called top first, but didn't argue and played support instead. If they then proceed to be dicks just mute them because other than that there isn't much you can do.

Also this is not the thread for this... gameplay or player behavior would have been better.

Don't follow their directions for one thing. Just mute them, put your head down, and grind out the loss if it's one of those games where your team doesn't even understand basic concepts like using your minimap. Just do your thing, good for you for being a cool guy and giving up top.

Thanks for your comments. I really do appreciate them. I apologize and agree this isn't the right spot. I've been playing for over a year and have never been in trouble so didn't know where to post. I see the category now. Hopefully I'll never have to use it. I also was really trying to do the right thing but didn't know what the right thing was. Going against your team seems wrong. I didn't rage as one suggested. I am over 50 and see no point in it. I do enjoy the game very much. It is brilliant. I hope this reprimand doesn't affect my champ for long. Will it expire sometime?
