Won Silver 1 promos to Gold. Did not promote, making me redo promos with no free win bonus.

As title states, I was in my Silver I promo to Gold V with a score of 2-2. I played an Aram, lost, then played my final game. I played as Karma top and had a horrid game, but I got carried to a victory. After the victory screen, I got a congrats for qualifying for your promos. I thought it was bugged so I played one more game. Again I played very poorly but still won. This time, I got a win in my promos. I am very confused as to how I 1) didn't get gold after my 3rd win and 2) how I didn't get the free win bonus heading into my second promo to Gold V.

I have no clue what caused that.

Probably send a support ticket? That way a Rioter can look into it?

The only things that pop into my head are dodges and remakes. Have any of those in your promos? Remakes can punish more than just the leaver if someone on their team also went afk, and dodges will count as a loss (and I'm not sure if a premade friend dodging would also count).

Send a support Ticket to Riot so that they help you, they can look it up from there~

In your Karma top game, did you ever afk/dc for 5 minutes+? I think it counts as a loss for promos if you are gone from the game for too long. Congrats on reaching Gold 5 though now.
