Smart Ping Glitch

Over the past couple of weeks playing LoL I've noticed that my mouse goes really weird whenever I smart ping. If I drag my mouse down and as for assistance it bugs out and ends up pinging something completely different. I'll ping danger and it'll ask for assistance. It's not ideal and sometimes fucks my team mates up.

Anyone dealt with this before and know a resolution?
