[client] logging onto chat service forever

no matter how many fixes i try from all the threads and sites i've looked at, nothing works to fix the issue of my client continuously connecting to chat service forever not allowing me to play with my friends in any easy way or talk in any lobbies of casual games or even ranked. if there is any fix that hasn't been said over a hundred times already, i would love to hear it.
