Was just futzing around with builds and wanted to have some fun with ludens + statikk shiv, but Ezreals Q doesnt appear to proc Ludens?
I double checked and it definitely charges it, but for some reason it doesnt appear to apply it. Is this intentional or a bug?
Counts as a basic attack, so it will apply on hit effects but not spell effects, so 
will not proc on Q but 
will.
Luden's Echo is charged upon spell cast. Luden's Echo procs on spell hit. Now here's where it gets interesting. If you've tried ap ezreal enough you have probably figured out that it procs spellblade and lifesteal. If you've built liandries and rylais you've probably noticed that those don't work on Q. That is because although it is a cast spell and a skillshot, it applies on hit effects and not spell effects.
that is dissapointing cause ezreal really need this item due to his lake of AOE
ezreal's Q is a spell treated as a basic attack, which means it applies on hit effects and can be parried/dodged/blinded etc. Spellshields block it though.
You can use alongside a 
for a pretty nasty burst when coupled with a 
for low cdr you're pretty much going to mollywhop kids
Maybe because it does physical damage? That's pretty much my only guess. try it with other physical damage spells to test that.
It won't proc on gangplank's Q either for the same reason, as stated above about on-hit effects vs on-spell-hit effects.
If this is true, I'm going to be rather disappointed. AP Ezreal is the one I wanted to test this item on most, due to his low waveclear without ultimate.
