Client Freezing

I try to start standard or ARAM matches, and it starts queuing me for matches, but after I say accept and it loads up the character select, I can't select or type in any way. I know you guys are aware of there being an issue with people changing summoner spells that freeze people, but this issue has also occurred when I tried to join, someone declined, and then before I accepted it a second time I noticed that it froze any interaction with the client besides accepting or declining the queue, with a transparent tint (meaning can't X out the window, click on convos, anything after accepting or declining). I don't have recordings, and there is no reliable way to reproduce it that I know of. It's happened at least 3 times now, about half the games I've played today.
