Clash sms verification not working

So I have a Textnow number, its an app, and when I try to use my number, it says the number is invalid. I've use the number before on other games and stuff and had no problems. Is it a bug?

i also tried some online SNS thing. it has to be a phone that is hooked up to a major mobile company
