[GamePlay] Syndra bugs (2 + visual glitch + possible bug)

This sucks. I wrote the entire thing out, with nice editting and EVERYTHING! and I accidentally hit some button and it refreshed and deleted everything. I destroyed right now.

Anyways, now this is going to look a lot less pretty and read a lot more ugly. I'm so upset right now, why doesn't this save the info in the text like so many other website do. Why!!!!!!

Bug 1

Short Description: Using Syndra; after casting W on a target, syndra picks the target up. W then goes on CD and Syndra holds the ball, unable to cast it. it is dropped after the normal 6 seconds that syndra will hold something.

reproduction rate: Twice in 5 games as syndra

How to reproduce: I don't know. In the game I was playing I picked up an annie tibbers. I Went into a Howling abyss to find out, I couldn't figure it out though. the first game it happened I was facing a zed, though zed had a heimer on his side (neither a turret nor heimer was near me though. ) In the first example, I had a chalice, boots1, 2 Hp pots, and a yellow. (may have been using 1 pot). I had 3 or 4 skills in q, 1 in w, 1 in e, 1 in r.

Bug 2

Short Description When at only enough mana for a Q or W casting both skills will still result in both skills being cast (despite only having enough mana for one)

Reproduction Rate: 10/10

How to Reproduce Well when a woman and a man are in love... Cast your skills until you only have less mana than the combined cost of Q and W Cast Both Q and W (with W targetting something)

Expected result: Only one skill is cast

Observer result: Both skills are cast, depleting whatever mana you have. This is especially obvious if your mana is only just higher than the cost of rank 1 W

Other Stuff: I think this works less than 100(?) mana when both are rank 1, though this works at all ranks of both skills regardless of which one costs more This may also work with her ult, I wasn't able to check it. (insert I'm so lonely comment here) This doesn't work with e. This might be due to e's cast timer. If it is, then this bug may work on other champions with no cast timers.

(Maybe) Bug 3

Short Description When casting Q-E combo at short range, the ball fails to be knocked back by E

Reproduction Rate: 10/10

How to Reproduce Cast Q close to Syndra (if ball range indicator is inside syndras model, the bug will occur) rapidly cast e to knock the ball away.

(Maybe) expected result: Ball is knocked away and possibly stuns someone.

*Observed result Ball is still forming and fails to be knocked away.

Other Stuff: The reason is an expected result is that:

  1. When the ball is fully formed that close and then an e is cast, the ball is knocked away
  2. When the ball is cast a little further, and then e is rapidly cast, q is knocked away, despite not being fully formed yet either.

This may be working as intended

Visual Glitch

Short Description: During the second game in which the first bug occurred, I was having visual glitches in which my balls were invisible. I could see the particles when they were cast, however beyond that I saw nothing. when I leveled E up I also saw the arrow pointing to which way the ball would go if e was cast on it. about 14-15 minutes into the game, my balls came back, but were just baclk (no textures on them). The True sight eye above the towers was also black (no textures) throughout this game for me

*Final Thoughts/ Other things I found

While "backing" (killing myself) on Howling Abyss, I e-q'd a turret and I could've sworn the circle went green and it retargeted (similar to how flash used to/still works under towers) I kept checking this but couldn't confirm it happened again. I thought I managed to do it again while there was a creep wave under the turret, but I wasn't paying close enough attention to whether it hit one and then changed targets or if minions had damaged (albeit very closely to the amount of damage a tower does) one of the caster minions).

If you e-q at very low mana (only enough for e) Syndra will cast e and then wait until she has enough mana for q and then cast q. this isn't a bug, it's just an interesting side effect of how LOL queue's commands. Syndra would sit doing nothing until the skill was cast even if she had AA turned on.

Finally, the last interesting thing is that Syndra can cast q outside of the map, with the broken floor particle that accompanies it, but can not cast something with w outside of the of the map, the item hits the wall and the falls down into the map. However, She can w something and then cast that OVER Yasuo's windwall and not have it get destroyed or blocked.
