Ip not displayed correctly in new client at times

I just tried to buy a new champ in the shop and the client said that I had 6465 Ip to spend but all of the 6300 champs where still locked. After logging on again I found that my Ip was listed at 6265. Have you faced this issue in the past and what do you think is causing it?
