[Gameplay] Jinx Passive & Kindred Ult Interaction Bugged

I was playing a game earlier today with a friendly kindred on my team. He cast his ult and was about to kill an enemy player, so I went ahead and threw a rocket down range to try and score an assist. I miss timed it, and my target was hit while still unkillable -- when they did end up dying, I got no assist but DID get the Jinx passive "Get Excited" as if I had gotten an assist.

Either I shouldn't have gotten anything, or I should have gotten both - not sure which of the two is intended, but I can't see it half triggering like that as correct.
