"There was a problem selecting your champion" Banning stage, ranked.

As the title says, had a popup dialog when I tried to ban Zoe in ranked but the selection still took.

But even though my selection was added to the preview in the top left of the client the countdown was still running. Could not click another champ, could not look it in. Got booted from the queue with a penalty. Looked like it happened to others in the queue as well because at 0 seconds there was only 2/5 champs selected for bans and I'm unsure if they were even able to see mine given the glitch.
