Becoming untargettable does not prevent the champion from being affected by previously applies abilities and/or debuffs.
DoT effects which have already been applied to the target have never been affected by untargettability.
Feel free to test this using Fizz, Elise, or Vladimir (for untargettable) and Swain or Malzahar (DoT) if you wish.
A "common" name for Swain's Q is Laserbird.
