Azir No Life Steal With Soldiers [GAMEPLAY]

As Azir, any life steal item won't life steal when one uses the soldier to replace Azir's basic attack, and it doesn't seem to give life steal when using Q or E abilities either. This makes it insanely difficult to start out jungling as Azir, and it makes items like the Bloodthirster(For an example) not preform well. Is this a bug that Azir's abilities will not give him life steal?

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Buy an item with a life steal stat(Bloodthirster, etc.)
  2. Summon soldier
  3. Have it attack any enemy, it can be minion, drake, monster, enemy champion, literally any enemy
  4. Watch as it doesn't provide the life steal

azir is not meant to be played as a jungler

Yes....because he isn't auto attacking. His soldier attacks count as spell effects, not auto attacks.

Lifesteal only applies to auto attack damage, not abilities. Items like Hextech Gunblade with it's omnivamp and Death's Dance with it's AD healing heal off spells. For Azir though, only Gunblade would work, as his soldier's don't do physical damage

You can't life steal from his W. It's not a bug.
