Game has issues on Windows 10 [CRASH]

This game has serious issues with Windows 10. It will run fine for a few minutes, then the screen will start flickering and/or the game client crashes. This problem started when I switched from Windows 7 to Windows 10. I have tried every possible combination of drivers and even reinstalling Windows 10 but the problem persists. All other games I own are working flawlessly, League of Legends is the only game that is having these issues. I have closely been monitoring my computers temperatures and can say with certainty that overheating is not an issue.

Here is my hardware:

ASUS P8Z77-V PRO/THUNDERBOLT Intel 3570K Processor Patriot 1867mhz DDR3 Memory (2x8GB Modules) SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 7990 100350GAMESR 6GB 384-Bit Samsung UHD U28D590 4K Monitor (Interfaced with DisplayPort) CM 1000-Watt Power Supply

I have also simultaneously submitted a bug report to AMD on the issue.

Do you actually play at the 4K resolution, or do you step it down to 1920x1080 for league? If not, have you tried that at all? Not sure why that should make a difference, but sometimes you have to just pick one variable and start there.

For the record, I've been running 10 for a month or so now, and haven't had any issues running league on it.

I've got Windows 10 on several of my computers and know many others who play League also on Windows 10, I don't think the issue is League itself. Drivers are a pain sometimes...

Have you tried running League in administrator mode? It's a long shot, but that might help.

What version of drivers are you using? I am pretty sure that the 290x and the 7990 share the same drivers (Maybe I'm wrong)

UPDATE

I've uninstalled Windows 10, went back to Windows 7 and the problem is gone. I'm not sure if Microsoft, AMD, or Riot is to blame for these issues but I'm tired of it plaguing my life. It is worth noting that this is not the only issue I was having with Windows 10 -- I frequently use VMware, and on Windows 10 I occasionally get flickers and corruption on the display of my virtual machine. It was for these reasons that I decided to roll back to Windows 7. Maybe I will switch back to 10 after a few years have gone by and it is finally stable!
