[Client] Client enters queue but does not indicate incoming games.
Bug:
On occasion upon entering queue after leaving the client up for a while (days), the client will allow entry into the queue but not have any indication when a match is found for the player. It seems this results in an auto-decline and, if left in this state, will prevent re-entry into the queue due to abandoned game in champ select and/or declined games. Not only will this result in an essentially unlimited-time queue for the player in a short queue (I waited over 20 minutes for an estimated 50 second queue for ARAM: the only time I have a wait that long is when this issue comes up), but once caught will also prevent entry into the queue (after the client is re-started) from the racked up declined games and any other flagging that may occur on the account from declined games.
How to Reproduce:
- Connect an AIR client to the game and keep it connected (With a disconnect at some point that the client will automatically recover from) for a few days. I wouldn't be surprised if this caused a de-sync of some type between the client and the server.
- Attempt to join a queue and let it run an unusually long time. The coincidence rate of this has been maybe once every week or so, not on patch days (patches force the client to restart to re-connect.)
- After an unusually long queue time, attempt to re-start the client and queue up - The account will be prevented from joining the queue due to declined games due to not having a declined game.
I'm unsure how much more help I can be in this matter, but the issue seems to be a syncing issue caused by long sessions on the AIR client and not resolving a disconnect from PvP.net properly. A failsafe forcing an AIR client restart every day or so might be the simplest way to resolve the issue if this isn't an isolated case.
