Gameplay - After latest patch my game has been less responsive

This bug has happened to me after the most recent patch. Whenever I would load into a game it would look like everything is perfectly fine, but when in lane I would start randomly getting this weird kind of "lag" where I click to move somewhere nothing would happen, and after about 5-10 seconds my champion would start doing what i previously commanded it to do. This has ruined my experience with league of legends and I find it game ruining because it has caused losses in some of my most recent games. Riot, i hope that you can fix this bug soon because I wont be playing this game anymore until it is fixed. Thank you.
