Freezing during game for no reason even when specs are good enough for LoL

I know I can play much more graphically heavy games other than LoL. For some reason though I get freezes for a second or more in game in fights and it makes me lose them. It's not consistent at all either, happening randomly. I feel like the newer patches have caused this problem to be a bigger issue for me, as I don't remember it happening much in the past.

Specs: Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-8750 CPU @ 2.20 Ghz 2.21 Ghz

Ram 8.00 (7.89 usable)

Graphics card is a Geforce GTX 1060

Not sure if I missed anything here.
