Can't See Sh*t, Captain

So, I was watching a stream while loading into my normal game. I alt-tabbed back to the client and I saw the orange reconnect button so I clicked it and continued loading. I got in-game but didn't hear or see anyone else spawn. I watched the fountain spawn and kind of just waited before typing in chat. No one responded but I knew people were there because I could see the map's Fog of War disappearing in the river. I started recording after that point.
