Prolonged Inactivity - Game Exiting

Sometimes, when I receive an error upon load in (especially the firewall error that Riot admitted is their issue), I'll load into the game a few minutes late to the error "You have been disconnected for prolonged activity. The game will now exit." THIS IS DUMB. I FINALLY CONNECT, and then get immediately booted because of an error. Riot punishes us for not connecting to games (that, the firewall error at least, is their fault), and then punishes me for connecting late. It feels almost as if Riot doesn't want me to connect or play the game.

I HATE being afk. It makes me feel horrible. I don't EVER rage quit. I know accidental connection issues happen. But the firewall error - and the afk warning upon reconnection - should be fixed. My friend just had this same issue.

Why does this error happen in these situations? It's stupid. Riot, please.
