Black Champion Loading Screen

So today I attempted to play some League of Legends and logged into queue like normal. I decided that I was going to play ARAM and upon getting into the champion loading screen it was pure black with only my mouse cursor showing. I thought that if I clicked on the screen something would happen, yet nothing did (just that annoying error bump sound). I then moved on to using different characters on my keyboard, including: enter, space, etc. but still nothing was changing the screen. This also was not happening yesterday and seemed to start happening after the most recent patch that I downloaded from the League of Legends client. I hope that this problem can be resolved soon, I really like playing this game but won't be able to if I can't get past champion select and into the game itself.

P.S. I am using a OS X Yosemite, v 10.10.3
