Ranked Stats Reset

I am new to ranked so this may just be me being ignorant. After the 2015 season started, I played 10 games of ranked in Solo/Duo and placed in silver III. Today I got on and my stats were still there. I played a game of aram, and went to look at them again for some reason and they were gone, like it had been reset. I played a game of solo/duo to see if that would fix it, and it just placed me back in 1/10 provisional. What's up, and can I get my spot back? Thanks-

Were you placed before today? If you had your placed before today then what happened was today began the new season thus everyone's rank is reset to begin the next placement. Now if you were placed today but then it disappeared it could simply be a bug.
