Launcher error

I have had an error recently where I would start the League client and press the launch button at the top-center of the window. However the program just ends and doesn't bring me to the log in screen. I checked the task manager and the application wasn't running. I repeat the process until it brings me to the log in screen.

does anybody else have this problem or is it something with my computer?
