League Client crashing during search and champ select

I can't stand it anymore. I got a brand new laptop (Lenovo Legion Y520) about 3 months ago and was able to play league peacefully for a bit. But as of a few weeks ago my client would randomly freeze (only the league client, not my computer) and it stays frozen for a good 30 seconds to more than a minute then will all of a sudden catch up with itself. But this ONLY happens while I am searching for a game or in champ select. In game everything is crisp. My internet is really good with a constant 57 ping. Never spikes. I am really annoyed because it has gotten more frequent. When it started it only happened once every like 7-8 games, but it's gotten to the point where just about every time I search for a game it freezes. 3 days ago I lost my promo series because my clients froze right after I had gotten in champ select, and by the time it caught up with itself I had already been kicked for not locking in a ban. Then yesterday I had to play Viegar with AD runes and masteries and smite (also during a promo game) because my client froze right after I locked in my champ, all the way until the game had started. Now, just tonight, I have been banned twice in ranked games (I'm now sitting, waiting on a 30 minute ban) because my client keeps freezing upon entering in a lobby. I have lost so much points in ranked due to this. I've initiated full repairs of the client and I have switch internets to my hotspot, my wife's hotspot, and internet at friends houses. I don't know what to do.

I have the EXACT SAME PROBLEM as you my friend. Before a while ago I was able to play the game with little to no problems but since i've recently moved and here is no internet, I've been forced to use my mobile hotspot as a solution.With the 4g hotspot, I was able to play at a constant ping of 42-44.Now, there's a catch -

The bug ->

There's a bug which is occuring ONLY in champion select - the client freezes for an unknown amount of time - sometimes I am within the first's to pick so im able to pick my champ before it freezes, other times not and I get a f dodge penalty and other times it unfreezes right when it's my turn to pick - and lastly, there are some rare times when it doesn't freeze at all.The chat, weird enough, does not freeze.Also, most of the times i have to quit the client because it freezes until the moment when in the chat writes the names of the summoners who just left so the client does not close and the game does not initiate so I have to restart my laptop in order to be able to connect to the game.I think my problem is occuring because of the mobile hotspot but yet it may be something else, im not entirely sure but I've read on other threads that others too have this exact same problem, and some also mention the use of mobile hotspots.

I am playing on a macbook pro retina mid 2012, with the macOS Sierra installed on it and using a mobile hotspot as for the internet provider.The problem have not occured in the past when i was playing on my home wifi or other places, just since I've started to use my mobile hotspot.I've already initiated full repair but that didn't do it.I've also changed my dns to google's one and still not fixed.

Sorry for my english, I hope this will get fixed or someone finds a workaround..
