Lost a rank match because of the client issues

So for some apparent reason whenever I tried to open up the league client today it would show the league of legends symbol and not open up the launcher. After a while of searching I decided to delete the RADS folder and low and behold it opened up and redownloaded the files. So after finding a match and picking champ the game started it automatically crashed on me and whenever I tried to load into the game it just crashed again. So I closed the client and reopened it and then it gave me a notification if I would like to redownload some missing files. I clicked yes cuz I thought it wouldn't take that long maybe be back into the game at the 5 minute mark but instead it started to redownload the entire game. So the match is lost and my first game in my placements and season six is ruined that just sucks
