FPS Stutter 9.14

Ever since this recent patch(9.14) I have been getting FPS stutters for about half a second around every 10-20 seconds. The game practically freezes and the FPS is shown to drop to around 55 and then back up to 60 but the FPS for sure is dropping to around 1 FPS. Closing the game had no effect.

Worst part is that it only happens for some games and not others? I can play one game and get little to no stutter (how it usually plays). Then the next this is happening every 20 seconds and is very unbearable. Ping is at the standard 40-50ms like usual.

Same... I didn't have lags before patch 9.14 (I've had 140 - 160fps in patch 9.13) But now I do have HUGE frame spikes and changing the graphics from High to low doesn't make any difference for me. Also, I want to mention HUGE like REALLY HUGE Latency and Ping spikes out of nowhere. I've had stable 29-31ms but now I have like 120ms every 10sec. frustrating af*[sg-janna]*

Same here for me. league all of a sudden started dropping to 20-30 fps and then going to 60 and back down but never going to the 144 cap i have set. I get 400+ on max settings uncapped and can play every other game i have fine but league has been unplayable, also my ping went from 60-70 to 100+ on average while being at unplayable frame rates. Updated graphics car drivers, reinstalled league, re patched it with the hex tech repair tool and still nothing. really hoping for a fix soon because its the end of the season and were all out there trying to grind

Same here. Game stutters but framerate and pings seem fine. Tried reinstalling patch. Solved the problem for about a day than started again.

I played a game as Jayce 2 days ago and it legit would stutter everytime i used the E Gate

a friend of mine played xerath and he said everytime he uses q game freezes or even gets black screen for a brief moment..

Yep pretty much, confirmed in aram too, almost format my entire pc .... xerath q, jayce e, ziggs e, irelia e ... so annoying!!.

its a problem with that abilities or more in particular, not problem about the hardware or connection it seems, something must've changed in riot part. crossing fingers for patch 9.15

I could not reproduce the stutter with taliyah with any ability. I think Riot ninjas fixed the stutter on 9.15.283.780.I did not test all champ but the ones doing stutter in 9.14 got fixed now.

Same problem here. Even got disconnected from game for the first time. Did a speed test during the DC - working as usual.

Same. today i played like 7 games and it happened in 2 definetly. Cant remember if it happend in a third game. I heard that its due to some champion abilities for example in my 2 games there was a Xerath and i also heard from a Xerath main that everytime he used Q his screen froze. So i guess everytime you get a screenfreeze in a game a certain champ is using an abilitiy that causes this

Ziggs E, Xerath Q, Jayce cannon E(?) and some other skills cause that stuttering.... Well... waiting for the fix...
