PC completely freezes after champ select... (patch 6.17)

Every time I find/create a game, my computer makes it to the game and then just completely freezes and the only thing I can do is turn my computer off and on again. Have tried multiple things including checking for virus's to changing my adapter settings. Has been doing this for over a week and it is giving me cancer cause i can't play. Please Help!!!
