Game Crash

I load into game and instantly realize I can't lock my camera. I tried unbinding and rebinding, I tried changing the key, and then setting it back to the default again. Nothing fixed my camera lock problem. A friend suggested I tab out and in again, so I did after playing for about 5-6 minutes. My screen was totally frozen, but I could still interact with the game. I repeatedly hit escape and heard the options menu open (though my screen still displayed me as recalling in a bush near red buff), I could hear myself using the mastery emote (though I couldn't see it, only myself recalling in bush), and I heard myself flash as I was trying to type to my team that "my screen is frozen and I can't move." I heard the enemy mia pings that followed.

At this point, I gave up and resolved to restart my computer. After manually shutting it off and turning it on again by pressing and holding my laptop's power button, I heard the dragon being slain and "a summoner has reconnected" before even logging into my laptop profile. As I logged in, I see the same frozen window of myself recalling in the bush near dragon. This time, there's a second window displaying an error message. I could hit alt tab and see the other window, however could not select it/the only window that would open was once again, me recalling in bush. So I shut off my computer a second time, by holding down my power button.

After starting up my computer again, the frozen window was gone. I tried reopening league, but it failed to load, so I shut it down in task manager and tried again. This time it loaded, and I started rejoining the game. Once I went from looking at a black screen to the usual window with all 10 champions on their respective teams, my computer showed me at 0 MS, and everyone in the game was at 0%. After a while I alt tabbed, and saw a window that said that the game was over, and that I could not join. I leave the loading in screen and look at the usual league client offering for me to honor someone.

Once leaving the post game lobby and attempting to start up a new game, my the "play" button was gray and there was a bubble above it mentioning something about (I can't exactly remember but I'm pretty sure it was) the patcher. I'm not exactly sure what caused all this hassle - my computer has never hung so much with any other game, and league of legends normally runs relatively smoothly for me.

Just thought I'd leave this here, so that someone (hopefully) fixes this problem...
